Craig Dietrich
An UMaine Dept. of New Media Assistant Professor from 2008-2009, Craig is presently in Los Angeles, where he is faculty at University of Southern California's Institute for Multimedia Literacy. He continues as a researcher at UMaine's Still Water lab developing culturally-sensitive software.
Craig is presently in production of Magic, a project documenting innovation in humanities-centered interactive media. His recent collaborations include the Mukurtu Archive and Plateau People's Web Portal content manager based on Aboriginal cultural protocols, ThoughtMesh, a semantic online publishing system, and the Dynamic Backend Generator, a MySQL-based relational data writing canvas. Craig has recently exhibited at Without Borders in Orono, ArtSpace404 in Santa Rosa, Legion Arts in Cedar Rapids, and ZeroOne in San Jose.
