NMD 305 announcement

NMD305-0001 Distributed Creativity
Wednesdays 10-12:30
420 Chadbourne Hall
Class Number 8606
Instructor: Jon Ippolito

This fall's NMD 305 "Distributed Creativity" class examines how to use JavaScript to script your world.

As always, the class will look at historical and current examples of ways to share culture, but the technical focus will be the increasingly ubiquitous language JavaScript, which can be used to program everything from AJaX-driven Web sites to iPhone applications, from Photoshop actions to bookmarklets, and can even be used to script environments like Flash, AIR, Firefox, PDF, and Max/MSP.

For more information, contact Jon Ippolito via First Class.
